EXAMINATION: We offer PMI training course, but there is no PMI examination center in Azerbaijan. We can register you for the examination in Ukraine, Turkey, Belarus or any other country where PMI examination center exists. The examination is held in English, but during the exam you can use language aid. PMI requires that you have a four-year degree (bachelor's or the global equivalent) and at least three years of project management experience, with 4,500 hours leading and directing projects and 35 hours of project management education in order to apply for PMP qualification.   EXAMINATION FEE: GRBS Current examination fee is $405 for PMI members, $555 for non-members. These are the fees officially set by PMI in all PMI certified examination centers. GRBS does not conduct the examination neither we charge you any examination fees. Only examination centers are responsible for this. Before you decide to get registered for the examination, we must know your educational background as well as your previous project management experience.

The process for becoming a certified Project Management Professional involves a review of prior education and work experience followed by a  computer based or written examination. Project Management Professional is the second of three formal credentials administered by the PMI. The first or basic level is Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM^®), which qualifies the holder for work as part of a project team. The third or highest level is Program Management Professional (PgMP^®), which certifies that the holder is competent to function as the leader of a team.

What is PMP Re-certification?

As per PMI's Continuing Certification Requirements (CCR), every PMP needs to re-certify his/her credentials every 3 years. In order to re-certify, a PMP needs to earn 60 Professional Development Units (PDUs) every 3 years. There are numerous ways to earn these PDUs such as Practicing Project and/or Program Management, attending classroom trainings, self-learning, attending Project/Program Management related seminars and workshops, doing voluntary work for Project Management communities or organizations.
