Unique resource for English-speaking foreigners to learn Azerbaijani
Another interesting project of GRBS®, having made many successful innovations in our country with its activities, is the book “Learn Azerbaijani 1”, which is prepared and published for English-speaking foreigners, who want to learn Azeri language. Nusrat Shihbabayev and Sabuhi Yusifov, who have been teaching Azerbaijani to foreigners for many years, have closely participated in this project.
Authors of the project consider it a big gift for 20th year of Restoration of Independence of our Republic. After gaining its independence our republic has achieved success in a number of areas. Especially against the background of development of economy, many foreign companies began to operate in our country, thus creating an opportunity for foreigners to live and work in Azerbaijan. Also, over the last years, as a result of developing foreign relations in the sphere of education, more and more foreign students come to our country to get education. No doubt, one of the primary needs of foreign specialists and students coming here to work or study is to learn Azerbaijani. Moreover, a number of Azerbaijan Cultural Centers and Azerbaijani courses and schools operate outside our country and teach Azerbaijani. At the same time foreign citizens who work at foreign countries’ diplomatic corpuses operating in our country also need to learn Azerbaijani.
For these reasons GRBS®, being a leader and innovator company in tuition services in the region, decided to publish series of books “Learn Azerbaijani”, create a web-page and conduct other works related to this sphere. Newly published “Learn Azerbaijani 1” is the first book of this series and covers primary knowledge and skills. Within the short period of time 2nd and 3rd levels of the book will also be published. The book is based on contemporary interactive teaching methods and is the first book of this kind. Being based on the principle of learning with the help of entertaining methods, the book is prepared on the basis of the methods applied at leading language tuition centers of the world.
