Attestation of all enterprises and organizations must be conducted every 5 years regardless of property, organizational and legal form.
Nearly 5 years GRBS®, regional leader and innovator in its field of activity, operates «Sanitary-Hygienic Laboratory», which is supplied with modern and certificated equipment and has been awarded Technical Competency and Independent Accreditation Certificate (Certificate # AZ 031.01.10.0219.07) by State Committee for Standardization, Metrology and Patent of the Republic of Azerbaijan. The laboratory conducts attestation of workplaces and provides specialized training and consultation services.
Head of «Sanitary-Hygienic Laboratory» of GRBS®, Zarifa Huseynova, said that the laboratory successfully conducts attestation of workplaces in the biggest organizations operating in our country in fields of transportation, oil extraction, oil processing and other fields (attestation in Azerneftyag Oil Refinery Plant, “Azercell Telecom” JV, “Ekol Engineering Services” Closed Joint-Stock Company, Baku branch of “Smith International Inc.”, Metropoliten of Baku, “SOCAR AQS” LLC, “Gobustan Operating Company”, “NESTLE PRODUCTS EXPORT CORPORATION” Representative in Azerbaijan, “Rolls-Royce İPEOPL” Baku branch, “AVM” Company, “Azerkorpu” Open Joint- Stock Company and other big enterprises. According to the Constitution and Labour Code, every citizen of Azerbaijan has a right to work in healthy work conditions. The decree No38 of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Azerbaijan on March 6, 2000, requires that enterprises and organizations be subject to attestation every 5 years in order to create healthy and safe work conditions for their employees. “Sanitary-Hygienic Laboratory” of GRBS® offers its services in this direction.” Z. Huseynova also noted that, according to the article 222 of Labour Code, if employer recruits employees with attesting them, then he must provide the employees with attested working place: “It means that physical, chemical, psycho-physiological factors at workplaces should comply with sanitary norms and standards. Workplace that doesn’t respond to sanitary norms can adversely affect the health of employees and the enterprise is responsible for this. If during the work period employee gets professional disease or is injured, then he must be paid compensation by the employer.”
Z. Huseynova said that «Sanitary-Hygienic Laboratory» of GRBS® is supplied with equipment that responds to modern requirements: “In our laboratory we have all specialized appliances and equipment necessary for conducting the attestation. During attestation process measurements are undertaken and in the end, sanitary-technical passport is given to the enterprise. The attested enterprise is informed about hazardous factors in the workplace that can negatively affect the health of employees and is given instructions about the ways of eliminating these factors. Also, physical, chemical, psycho-physiological factors and their effects on organism are investigated. If results do not match the standards, it means that the health of this enterprise’s employees is in danger. «Sanitary-Hygienic Laboratory” of GRBS® offers high quality services in this direction to help enterprises eliminate these problems.” |
