NATIONAL ACCOUNTING QUALIFICATION (NAQ)

For the first time in the accounting history of Azerbaijan GRBS^®, within the framework of partnership with the Chamber of Auditors of Azerbaijan Republic introduces unique tuition and certification program of National Accounting Qualification with international status and in both Azerbaijani and Russian languages! National Accounting Qualification is the first and only national qualification with international recognition for accountants and auditors of Azerbaijan.

Based on the executive order issued by his Majesty Ilham Aliyev, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, on June 29, 2004, on transition of organizations and companies operating in Azerbaijan into National and International Accounting Standards from January 1, 2008, GRBS^® has developed a unique educational and certification program contained of 6 (six) different special training courses on National Accounting Qualification based on internationally recognized programs in order to increase the personnel potential in Azerbaijan. National Certification Program will help your organization become more sustainable and further flourish in contemporary fast developing economic conditions by improving the knowledge of your finance and accounting specialists in areas of financial accounting, financial management, taxation, national and international accounting standards.

STRUCTURE OF NATIONAL QUALIFICATION

National Accounting Qualification includes following papers:

National Certificate in Financial Accounting (fundamentals, international);
National Certificate in Management Accounting;
National Certificate in Tax Accounting;
National Diploma in International Financial Reporting Standards for Commercial Organizations;

TRAINING MATERIALS

Training materials for courses conducted in Azerbaijani: Training materials used for courses in Financial Accounting (international, basics), Management Accounting and National Diploma in International Financial Reporting Standards (for Commercial Organizations) have been worked out on basis of an exclusive official Azerbaijani translation of English-origin materials, which deal with ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants) Qualification dispersed in more than 180 countries over the world, and published by “BPP Learning Media”, publishing house with 50-year experience, taking into account National Accounting Standards. Instruction materials for courses in Tax Accounting have been developed on basis of operative Tax Legislation of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

Training materials for courses conducted in Russian: Training materials for any course in Russian have been worked out in accordance with programs approved by ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants).

NATIONAL CERTIFICATION EXAM

According to the partnership agreement signed between GRBS^®, the only Tuition Center accredited in Azerbaijan by ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants) and The Chamber of Auditors of the Republic of Azerbaijan, full member of International Federation of Accountants (IFAC), candidates succeeding in certification exam conducted at the end of the course will be granted with international level diploma or certificates.

TIME OF CLASSES

Schedules and time of the courses are set flexible to allow candidates to participate in the courses comfortably and to avoid counteract with their work schedule, so that they could continue their day-to-day activities.

Thus, candidates can choose one of below-mentioned schedules that would be the most convenient to them and attend one or more courses offered:

On weekdays, once in a week from 9:00 to 13:00;
On weekdays, twice per week from 19:00 till 21:00;
On weekends from 9:30 till 13:30 or from 14:00 till 18:00.

Courses are held in Caspian Plaza, GRBS^® Tuition Center – in a comfortable and fully equipped place that meets international standards.

SPECIAL NOTE

The courses on National Certificate in Financial Accounting and National Certificate in Management Accounting correspond to the syllabi of the ACCA Financial Accounting (F3) and Management Accounting (F2) respectively and are oriented for people willing to start learning accounting and finance. Thus, there are no any experience requirements for participation in these courses.

The courses on National Certificate in Taxation have been designed on basis of the Tax Legislation of the Republic of Azerbaijan and are oriented for people who have just started to learn taxation but lack enough experience in this field. There are no any experience requirements for participation in these courses, as well.

The courses on National Diploma in International Financial Reporting Standards for Commercial Organizations are of a higher level and correspond to the ACCA Diploma in International Financial Reporting qualification and meet all ACCA requirements and additionally, covers National Financial Reporting Standards approved by the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Azerbaijan. This course is oriented for people with at least 3-year experience in the area of finance and accounting or relevant university degree and 2-year experience in the fields.

The courses on National Diploma in Financial Reporting Standards for Governmental and Non-governmental Organizations have been designed on basis of modern National Financial Reporting Standards approved by the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Azerbaijan and relevant international sources. These courses are oriented for people with at least 3-year experience in the area of finance and accounting or relevant university degree and 2-year experience in the fields.

In case candidate possess no relevant experience or has doubts in his/her abilities to grasp the course material on International and National Financial Reporting Standards, it would be necessary for him/her to take National Certificate in Financial Accounting course first and in addition we recommend to take National Certificate in Management Accounting and National Certificate in Taxation course, as well.

CANCELLATION POLICY

The Client must notify in writing to GRBS^® International Professional Qualifications Department in case he/she wishes to cancel the registration, change course dates or switch from one course to another. The notifications must be submitted at least 3 (three) business days prior to the commencement of course in order to avoid administrative charge for cancellation. Administrative charge equals 30% of the course fee.
